About Mike

Born and raised right outside Boston, Mike O’Neill couldn’t get rid of his accent if he tried.

After a tough childhood led to a brief stint on juvenile probation, Mike knew he needed to get his act together. Realizing the stakes, he began aggressively minimally applying himself in school. He then graduated and went to UMass Amherst because he loves debt.

After graduating, Mike landed one of his FORTY-SIX jobs at a startup during the dotcom boom, and somehow scored an interview with pro wrestling legend Terry Funk, despite having zero press credentials.

His first time performing stand-up comedy, Mike absolutely destroyed. So, he brought fifteen friends to his second show, and absolutely bombed. After finding all new friends, he went on to become one of the most dependable feature acts in New England.

Mike met his wife, Ericke (EH-ri-ka), and just months later got married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator. Yes, those are legal marriages.

Job number forty-seven is all that matters to Mike—stay-at-home dad. When his daughter was old enough to not stick her finger in a light socket, Mike started TV writing. His pilot, The Duke of Essex, was a Stage 32 TV Comedy Contest FINALIST and featured on the Red List. He’s been a Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards FINALIST, a two-time ScreenCraft SEMIFINALIST, and has placed in Big Break twice. His most impressive accolade, however, still remains winning Best Halloween Costume in sixth grade for dressing as a pack of Lucky Strikes.
